  • Purchasing an aquaero

Hi I've been researching for these past weeks about the Aquaero. All I can say is that this device is phenomenal and I would like to invest in one. To get full use of the Aquaero I am also purchasing an aquabus d5 and, aquacomputer flow meter, and also a couple of temp sensors. Now I have a couple of questions, what's the difference between an aquaero 6 xt and pro? Is it worth the extra 30 or so dollars for an xt? Also do I still need a temp sensor since the pump and flow meter also has one built in? And how do I configure my pc so that it will turn off by itself if the pump failed?

XT has capacitor (touch) buttons and pro has physical buttons. I also belive remote control comes with XT only, don't remember for sure... You can check AC site for list of parts.

      Daz is right.

The 2 differences are the touch buttons and the remote.

Funny I wanted to know the same thing. Just to add to the above straight from the horse's mouth.

        Hello,

the XT has the following advantages over the PRO:

        - touch input
        - four more programmable buttons at the front
        - glass that covers the display
        - includes remote control

        Everything else is the same.

        kind regards
