              pretty cool, printers are still pretty dear though ie: cost wise. Need one that will do metal pieces,

                It's called a Robot welder. I've helped setup them up at GM design division.

                    Learning curve is insane, but I think I nailed it for combs.

                    3D printing channels on youtube is total shit. You have to sift trough so many garbage videos for 10 sec good advice. Manufacturer websites full of pretty pictures, but zero useful info. Man...frustrating, but interesting!

                          Yes, will be offering my own designed combs in 10 colors. So far White and Red were printed.

                              No. It is either printed as intended or it ****ed up and goes to garbage.

                              Having said that , if printer poorly calibrated you may have have some minor issues that may require cutting extra plastic or sanding. Also complicated designs may require support material that you need to cut off after print.
