Put me down for the group-buy, been thinking of making one for a while now and many hands make for light work

Could maybe look into designing mount-holes to also mount tube mandrels? Might not be practical with it being plywood I suppose

A 50 Watt/channel Fan controller will give you 4amps. You would need a 60 watt rheostat @ 12 volts to get to 5 amps.

You can run the power through an cheap old fan controller so you don't blow PSU. This will let you get perfect temp on wire as well.

now , need to know if I can power this little toy with a old regular 700watt psu on the 12v or 5v, hope the protection on psu will not activate, if not work , need to find a good one, maybe a regulated one , but want keep the project at very low cost

for now I'm at around $55 with tax and shipping include, want to keep it low for all other who want one
will try it very soon and let you know and if work, will do a little video

If you go to "Amazon.ca" you will find it there. It's only 50-95 cents a foot, but need to buy a minimum of at least 25 feet.

Once you guys get your tables set up maybe you could take some custom orders? Dont have the room at home but would like some work done idea.

I have the mandrels set up on a 1/4 sheet of plywood for tube bending, works nice.

I really need to make myself a bender also. Hard to get a real sharp crease using c clamps and a piece of wood lol

I already have a bender, but you guys (especially you snef) could use the nichrome wire to create a foam cutting station, which might be useful for when you send out your builds to clients or vendors for trade shows.

I have a buddy who just made a table with a vertically tightened nichrome wire hanging from a hanger that is secured under the table, and he makes custom foam inserts for his gun cases.

    Just an idea.
