Hey everyone,
Quick question ... I ordered a large cylinder reservoir for my water pump mount & realized they were not compatible... so I got creative and decided to use both together:
- My large reservoir will act as the main one, and is connected to the IN port of the pump mount;
- I leave the small reservoir attached to the mount (horizontally), which has a draining mechanism attached to it;
- OUT port continues the loop normally
In other words, I'm wondering if it'll be possible to operate this normally, and also if draining this way will work? I'm aware that I would have issues if I try draining while the pump is running, but it should be totally fine if I do it while it's shut off (as it should).
Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:
I hope it works, because I plan on using a male quick disconnect on my drain pipe, where I would simply hook up another larger pump; no-spill, safe drainage!
Thanks for your help!
