  • Air stuck in my loop

    Hello

I have a thermaltake tower 900 with 2 watercooling loop on it, one for the CPU and one for the GPU

Since the beginning I have trouble to bleed my CPU loop
My CPU Loop run with a D5 Strong, Few month ago I bought a Koolance CTR-CD1224 controller to push the pump at 24v, but I,m still not happy with the result.

Few days ago I had to drain my loop cause I was moving to another apartment since then I have a lot of air stuck in my loop and I'm not able to get rid of it.

    - I don't know if my D5 Strong have a problem since the beginning
    - Do I fill my loop like an idiot since the beginning

On the meantime I have my GPU Loop running with a D5 Var set at level 5 and the flow a lot stronger than the CPU one.
I never got any issue with this loop and I'm happy I choose the D5 Var

Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this ?

    Thank you

PS: Sorry for my English it's not my first language

You do realize you can turn that D5 to it's slowest setting and temperatures would most likely remain the same, right? Plus turning the pump down would help with air bleeding.

I usually put the pump at maximum to remove the air and after that I put it at normal/ medium voltage, but with the CPU loop it does not seems to make any difference.

Slow down and cycle pump to push air trough, also fliping/tilting case helps, although yours is big.

          ya Daz.

but I would like some better pics of the loop. backside especially.

if your fill port/rez/pump combo is lower than some parts of the loop,
you can have a harder time filling the rez before air backflows with the pump off.
