  • Building a PC for a friend.. Need advice! =)

Friend asked me to build her a PC, but she uses a lot of programs I have never ran before.... AND all at the same time. Adobe Creative Design Suite, browsers, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver. 30" HD monitor and want to run two.

So not sure what the monitors are yet, but I was thinking a X470 platform with a 2700X, 32GB (64?) of 2933 or 3200Mhz, and a 1070ti-1080. Am I on point here?

I think you have a good setup for what she's looking for.

The 2700X is an 8 cores / 16 threads CPU so it should be enough.

For the RAM, 32GB should be good too.

also ask her to look at several cases to not only choose an appropriate aesthetic,
but also to find something sized for the space she plans to place it.

Currently gathering information about the environment it will be situated in... for cooling, air filtration needs, fan/case dB levels, and YES! Thank you! completely slipped my mind! Cheers! Additionally, requirements motherboard wise such as WiFi, Bluetooth, sound quality, storage, optical drives etc.
