  • Question about the speed of this pump and my planned build

    Hey guys,

So I have this pump here.

and for those of you are sometimes lazy like me and don't always follow supplied links
it is a DDP 3.25 Dazmode Storm

I will have 1 CPU Block, 1 GTX 780 block and 1 240mm rad (yes I know doesn't seem like enough but it will be, has been proven on OCN just can't over clock to hight...)
The case is a Hadron Air so micro ATX the amount of fluid in the loop will be around 1 or so litres to be honest I am not exactly sure.....
I am using acrylic pipe for the loop..... And a 150mm rez

So my question is will this pump be to powerful for such a small loop? or is there a way for me to throttle it somehow?

    Thanks

    Too powerful? no...

you can put it on a fan controller easily... run it to whatever RPM you see fit.

I'll bet it just arrived from Toronto, or should I say North York. Yes, use a fan controller with more than 20 watt output per channel. 30 would be good as the pump can use up to 18 watts, separate blue cable is the tach cable.
