dipping tube in water is sufficient, no need to add any junk (like soap) in your loop

I do pretty much the same thing where I just have a small container of clear fluid or the fluid I'm using for the build and dip the ends of the tube in the coolant before I install them into the fittings and they seem to go in much more easily.

Remove o-rings from fitting. Put them in water then back in fitting. Wet the end of the tube and insert.
If your using O-ring lubricant then they should not require wetting.

I decided to go with the O ring lubricant as a safe option. Thanks for the confirmation.

Now getting closer to the finishing touches, the question is coolant fluid: Aurora 2 Blue Concentrate, is it good? If so, what will you mix it with?
