  • Heatkiller tube res in series (DDC)

    Me again,

Has anyone done or know of being done, putting 2 Heatkiller tube reservoirs in series?

I have 2 loops that I am thinking of combining into 1 big loop (going to go with pastel white coolant for both cpu and GPU)

Can I go from the output on pump 1 to the input on pump 2 and then out of pump 2 into the loop with the return coming back into pump 1?

    Think it will work?

    Cheers,

    Chris

It will, but some customers experience second pump burn outs, so may be better go trough res, not directly.

I will have to watch for that, I plan to have both pumps sync'd using a PWM splitter I have, so they should spin at roughly the same RPM. Plus I have 2 spare pumps from my last big build that are still good after running in the swiftech dual DDC top.

Parts are waiting for me at the post office, gonna be a loooooong wait till Zen 2 is released
