Yeah, that's fair. I just ordered a flat 120mm fan/res mount for it, should work like a champ, unfortunately didn't identify that on the first order, so there is some regrettable time/shipping cost, but ah well. Not the end of the world.
As for the push/pull valve for my drain, that one is baffling me. I'd like the setup to be something like soft tube G1/4 fitting, soft tube, fitting, valve, fitting, soft tube, to make draining easy, but it seems there is a male thread and o-ring where I expected a female thread. Is there an equivalent female thread and barb fitting to go with this? Kinda confused, and obviously there isn't any documentation on this anywhere.
