    Hi All,

Some of you may know me from last year's amateur build competition and my build entered there, Colourworks.

Immediately after Colourworks was complete, I began work on my current build, Royal. I was hoping to achieve two things I'd rarely seen: one, a full gold build, and; two, a modified O-11 Dynamic. I'd seen numerous builds in the O-11, but aside from a few choice works (like Enviousmods' Carbon mod), few people had modded the O-11. Similarly, I'd rarely seen top to bottom, all component gold builds.

For parts, as with Colourworks, I installed quality parts because I use these builds. Here's a breakdown of the major components:

    CPU: Intel 9900k
    GPU: Zotac 2080Ti
MOBO: ASUS ROG Maximus Formula XI
Memory: 32GB G. Skill Trident Z Royal RGB
    Storage: Samsung 970 evo M.2
    PSU: 1600w EVGA

    For watercooling we have:

    CPU block: Barrow
    D5: Barrow
    Fittings: Byksi
    Tubing: XPSC black chrome
    Radiators: XPSC
    Reservoir: Bitspower
    Pump top: Barrow
    Pump cover: Barrow
    Fans: Corsair ML120s

In the end, I'm quite happy. I figured out a new painting technique to achieve mirror gold finishes, worked further with vinyl (all fans are covered in vinyl), tried some innovative things (like placing the distro board on the bottom of the O-11, which I'd never seen), and worked with metal tubing for my first time.

Let me know what you guys think!

Oh, and my Instagram is @engelmods.

For whatever reason my account has blown up, lol, so you guys may have seen these photos around. Especially this ****ing motherboard. I don't want to be know as the gold motherboard guy.

11 out of 10. Fabulous job.

Makes me want to start all over again.

Don't say that! Your first custom loop is ****ing solid!

I did my first custom loop in August (I think?) and it wasn't as good as yours.

Very nice and I believe this is Black Pastel with Gold additive. Did it worked as you hoped or gold effect was not enough?

Not enough. Mayhems recommends a few drops per L. I put in 3 and didn't see an effect - and then didn't want to push more and risk clogging the blocks/pump. Good thing the black looks slick on its own!

Couple customers in the past did rather prominent silver (with orange and gray), but I dont know now much they put in.

I'm doing a Nintendo-themed build next and I'll probably try grey with silver booster!

Congratulations on DazMode's BOTM FEB2019 title! Your build impressed me the most for the amount of custom work that went into this project. Well done.
