Never saw a cpu die before getting outdated lol. Unless it was defective. Even my old 4930k which was OC'ed to 4.3GHz, (quite high speed for that gen processor) was still running just as good as if it was new after 7 years. Never pay extra bucks for a processor if you plan on overclocking or deliding it because the warranty goes bye bye.

How long did you use it and for how long was it overclocked? I might have someone
interested.

I've found spending the couple extra dollars on the ME ipr warranty makes things easier to resell and there warranty transfer to a new owner

Yeah the motherboard it might be worth it. Just not the cpu. But who am i to say what should be done or not. Dont listen to me lol.. or maybe do.. hahaha
