Hi, I am a gamer since i was 11, and a PC gamer since i am 16. I always love to disassemble and reassemble every electronic i had, and it didn't take long before i did the same to a computer. I've built my fist PC back in 2000 and like all of you here, wanted to go a step further and water cooled my PC. As i am a drafter and a owner of a small company, I did some of the parts using our CNC and some with traditional metal work technic.

    Project Sleeper :

Trying to built a custom loop PC using a old case. With the front panel off and the side panel on, the PC must look like an old PC.

Some of the work is already made, but I will have the finish this built in a week !

this is the work i already did during the spring, for my now dead P6T deluxe mobo.

This is my Cooling Unit :

i've made some custom valve knob because i couldn't use it directly mounted on a surface.

I'm a big fan of noctua, but i didn't want to go un the brown side for this unit so i purchased the redux model. cheaper but louder.

I designed a custom bracket to hold the pump and the reservoir. Someone told me that the DDC pump were loud, but if you hold it through the reservoir, it was better. I did the maximum i coud by mounting it on damping grommets.

          the assembly :

I've design and cnc cut a bracket for the fan hub. I also have bracket to hold the liquid inlet and the connector for the wire harness.

and my first test il a closed loop ( rad and pump only )

                    For all those concerned.
Francois signed up for the competition on September 6 2017.

This was the first thing I check when he opened his log today.
Because we did not say anything in the rules about when a build log had to be started we are allowing this build to be entered.
Build must be completed by Sunday Midnight.
Monday morning the judges will be starting to judge the builds.

As i wanted something different, i've choose the difficult path of building in a old case. my choice felt on a Foxconn case that i have never seen before. Probably an old prefab PC/server, it had a cage to hold 6 hdd.

after, i've drill all the rivet to cut out the part of the frame that it didn't want anymore. I ve keeped the top 5,25 bay ant the 3.5 one.

after the modification i have reassemble it temporarly, to fit my new parts in it.

Than by taking mesurement, made some carton box model for the internal covers

                              transfer it on aluminum :
