In the home stretch now !!

Finished the top floor plate and started paint! Will be done and installed tomorrow/monday. Then once I've got the height I can make the staircase bits, railings, and reservoir shrouding!

Here it is! The top floor plate, in progress and finished machining!

Installed!!!!! I LOVE how it turned out without paint... I kinda like how it matches the tubes a bit so methinks they shall stay raw aluminum!

Once the fans are installed on the side panels, the light will shine through the reservoir shrouding!!

                More to come soon!!

Final wires will get extended for the pump readout and the HDD light behind the emperor and after the rails and stairs. It's just the feet to go!

Ps I just realised I didnt save the photos with the glass so I'll take some more for tomorrow when I'm doing the final machined bits!

Sooo will you be getting a hydraulic lift with wheels on it so you can move this thing around? LOL! The white lighting looks awesome, nice and even. This is going to be killer when it's done!

Big day today finishing up the last little bits of machining I'm gonna get to do for the project! Unfortunately I wont be able to make the feet I designed before the deadline due to a shortage of available funds left to make it happen in 3 days, so they will be a future addition!

But I had a lot of fun today doing the railing supports and the staircase, and I'm really happy with the turnout! Now onto install and then final photos after this!!!!

railing supports on the table, everything done today was done with a 1/16th" tapered carbide ball end mill. 1100mm/min feed rate, 0.254 mm depth of cut and 150mm/min plunge rate!

Gluing up the stairs and adding the railing supports!!!

Will be adding in a railing as well, just need to pick up a suitable gauge wire to make into a rail!
