          Thank you!

What's next? My 6 year old son asked me to build him a Plants vs Zombie Pea Shooter remote control robot. I told him I am not skilled in robotics and he argued me that if I can build something like Sx4, I am able to build a robot. He's not wrong. But no, I will not build a robot, sorry son.

What's next about Sx4? I will post 2-3 last updates with good final pictures.

What's next to build? This is a really good question. I discovered a new passion in the modding and I don't know if I will be able to resist for CAMC2021 (my wife will probably kill me I build another one next year). But if there is a next one. I have a crazy build Idea for the next project. Maybe next year...

Thank you very much Hooded, Rhoadspc and Kaidis86!

For this update, I took some pictures with a CAT S60 Flir camera.

I was curious to see the heat distribution on the build and also mesure the hot spot (was 32°C when I took the pictures).

                      The ultimate candy machine

For this shooting session, I used a "candy" pink curtain background trying to make it like "professional" pictures with my wife Canon EOS T6.

The expected birth date of my 4th son is tomorrow the 21 septembre (40 weeks). So, I think I will be pretty busy with kids and baby for the next few weeks (and months). I don't think I will have the time to make another photo shooting. This update is probably the Sx4 official final pictures.

                        • Thank you Rhoadspc, I love your last build pictures! I am undoubtedly not as good to take good pictures.

I am so happy, I have to share it with you; my love gave birth of our 4th son yesterday evening. Everything went fine considering the weight of the new born (9lb 2oz), she's not hurt at all. The baby is perfect! I am so proud of my wife. The women body is wonderful isn't it? It blows my mind every time I look at my sons; she made them all! I gave her an ADN fraction and she created an human.

I know this have nothing to do with the build (except for the Sx4, Son x 4, concept) and the fact that he kept me motivated all along the project, but I want to post some pictures of my son here.

                              Original

I found and restored a second Vendesing mfg to keep it original and unmodified. I also kept the original charcoal paint color. My wife asked me if she can change the candy choice in Sx4 for something else she prefers. I replied her: this is your machine you know, I gave it to you. You can put every "machine compatible" candy if you want. But, I have another one in the garage that only need to be cleaned and painted (touch up on little rust spots), I can do that and place it in the play room.

Like I promised, I made it (I finished it in the evening before she gave birth) in the perfect timing (she will come back tomorrow with the new born).

The machine looks empty, I didn't have enough candy to fill it for the pictures. Those containers can contain much more candy than they appear. They can easily be filled with more than 5kg each.

                              • That is a brilliant idea and an incredible work of art it has turned into! Excellent job!
I love how you still kept the candy inside of it and the separate compartments. That truly is something else.
