I’m starting to really like this project , my ugly duck is looking better and better. I spent my Saturday night adding some colour and recess shading in the panel lines. I’m just about ready to fit some computer parts in there, imagine that!

                  Looking good!  Functional engines?

I had semi functional engines in my jet engine build (MODell XPS) - my nozzles were made from margarine tubs, but they contained RGB strips that ramped in colour and intensity with CPU load, plus some powerful Delta screamers that made it sound like a jet taking off lol.

                  Nice work.

Haha that’s awesome. I don’t have delta screamers but I may add some type of sound when the computer boots up.

I did put RGB strips inside each engine that I will be able to control and do things like follow along cpu temperature or strobe with music etc. Should be fun.

Added two tones of washes to the model today, Sepia on the bottom half and Space Wolves Grey which is really more of a blue to the top panels and wings. Loved the effects the washes had adding to the weathering and bringing everything together.

Tomorrow the Asus KO 3060ti which is a twin fan model should come in and I’ll start test fitting components in there and see if I can’t get this finished soon!

Hope everyone is having fun working on their mods, I know I am!

It’s alive ! 100% complete and functional , gaming on it minutes ago. Feels great to have a project completed for the 2nd year in a row here for this competition, thank you Daz !

Time to take some final photos and share them.

A couple little pictures, added some plastic sleeving and rerouted an old power button from an old HP desktop , not the prettiest of buttons but it works well with the theme of a beat up space ship
