so might as well start somewhere....

This is what it was... it changed and evolved. The last status before tear down was 2 x Titan X on Air.

I am a gamer, photographer and getting heavier into video.

Lets start with memory. What do you do with boring green sticks of ECC memory?

go to ebay and find some heat sinks, got these for $2.25 CAD each.

Dont mind the logo, they will be hidden.

        Samsung 951 NVMe PCIe M.2

Need to cover it up and cool it...they are known to get hot.

put some heatsinks i had laying around for years...i think these are from swiftech.

Got rid of some of the green and will no doubt aid in cooling.

I didnt take pics of putting on any of the GPU or SSD blocks, but here are some pics.

My bending setup.. this is my first time with hart tube. Only messed up a few times. I used those pieces for more practice.

I set a timer for myself in terms of how long to heat the pipe (as a minimum) as the excitement tried to get me to rush. Not heating the piping evenly and thoroughly is what caused some bad bends. Other wasted pieces where due to bad measurements.

My first bend, it was done on the first try.

Both the GPU and SSDs are setup in parallel.

If EK made a FC terminal that allowed for the SSDs to be side by side I would have done it. In the middle of the two SSDs is my LSI Raid Controller.

If EK made a FC terminal for 3 side by side, I might be convinced to go with 3 x 750 SSDs.

Ended up using some Koolance GPU connectors. love them, used them numerous times before.

This is what the CPUs look like.

GPUs with the EK backplate and waterblock.

So in prep to do the next tubes, I... rushed...well this:

            more bends

bends done for today, till this goes into the case and the rest of the lines can be worked out.

That brings interesting question if ek terminals for gpu fit ssd blocks as well.

Quite a bit of pron in one day!

Saw more... Really no deformation of tubes, good job with patience.

A couple of test runs and one mistake on another. Basically rushed... Didn't heat enough.

The acrylic heats up nicely. You would need to be asleep to heat it to the point of bubbles.

I thought it honestly was going to be hard... It isn't.

Those thinking about going hard tube with bends... Do it. Daz has all the things you need.

Some recommended using more fittings then bends, but I wanted to go asl clean as possible.
