  • LEEZEE's Watercooling build Logs

Hey this is a on going video build log of me working on my first watercooling system from start to finish. I'm going to be slowly adding videos every few days as I go. I moved my original thread to this category from the Modding tutorials category (http://bit.ly/1Uasx3s) just too keep things separate because not all of these build logs are tutorials. Here is the newest video from my build log #2 : https://youtu.be/Q6ZbO_o31u0

Here is the previous video (build log #1 - GPU waterblock install: https://youtu.be/mRxsEJWuVf8 )

Finished system ( you will see a few changes throughout my build logs till I got to this.)

How are your temps with this case? I had the ITX version of this case with 2 240 rads, a 4790k and a 980ti without overclock and the temperature were so bad that I ended up replacing the case. Without the side panels the temps were good but with all the case closed, there was not enough air flow. I don't know if the ATX version is the same since it has a longer front panel so possibly more airflow can go through all the openings. So, that's why I'm asking how are the temps.

The temps were not great with the R9 295x2 in there. I was pretty unimpressed with the results. I have since traded a guy for a 980ti and I have had awesome temps. 27 degrees idle gpu and cpu. 47 gpu and 50 cpu under load. I would agree about the lack of vents. The top of the case get hot. I'm sure with a different case I would possibly have better temps but I'm ok with these for now. Too much work to get a new case at this point! lol. I love the look of the case and build quality though.

Indeed, very good build quality. Nice temps. I wish my temps were this good. I would probably still use the evolv. Thanks for sharing your temps.

yeah dude I can post some.! They aren't the best quality just from my iphone. Here was my loop at the end of my last build log.

This is a lower quality one but it shows how little of room I had from the tube coming up behind the videocard / motherboard / case lol
