well finally got around to adding the 1080 to this system been running a 970 on air since well awhile now, and also my system developed a clog also needed to clean the top rad cpu block and pump top, almost looked like solder paste to me and some weird looking stuff in the cpu block at the plate.

Also added vue coolant since have a couple bottles here and it cost me about a hundred am going to use it, will see how long this mercury coloured silver lasts. At least it will be easier to see if something is not moving around the loop this time. Always used to leave this living room pc on 24/7 but will have to adjust that as this stuff needs down time it seems.

Ya did Clear on my first loop 15 years or more ago. Will give this a shot, some have no problems but will see how it goes...

it wont be any problems, except flakes eventually settle in dead corners and liquid clears.

As for your build the 1600X is great! Built my friend a 1600X + GTX 1080 system and he is very happy with 4K 40-60FPS. Are you just watercooling the CPU?

Ya both are water cooled gpu and cpu, a1080 and a 1700x, system was previously running with an air cooled gtx 970 with just the cpu watercooled. This is my living room rig, gaming rig is a 8700k and a 1080ti again watercooled.
