  • Received my stuff this morning. There wasn't much. Just my 6 fans and the tubes but it's enough go on ahead with the switch :-).
Special thanks to Daz for making this build possible by selling great stuff and thanks for all the help and fast order processing!
I'm not done yet! Still have to get a bunch of fans and pretty sure I'll need more tubes but one thing at a time! One or 2 months and that beast is complete.... finally. Then I'll be able to have my rest. :-)

Too bad the new fans and rads are not out yet! Click image for larger version

Removed the sticker on the fan. Just a temporary solution until I get the Vardars I'm missing...

Now time to move with restarting over everything..
      See you all later!!!

      • I might not be able to finish it before the end finally... Not looking for sympathy so don't judge me. I just came back yesterday from another hospitalization and things are getting really bad. Next time might be the last one. Even yesterday, I decided to come back home even tho the doc was saying I should stay.. Anyways, time to put the last efforts in the build!

          • One last thing... if anyone have 14mm acrylic tubes they don't plan on using.... I'm a taker... I have 2 tubes left and seeing how I'm messing my bends lately, I won't make it... Or I'll just order them along the fans I need to get in a couple weeks... if Daz still have enough fans in store at that time... with my luck, they will be completely be out of stock I'm sure...

            • Hey Danny79-Qc , I ‘ve really enjoyed following your build log. Almost at the point now where I don’t want it to end although I certainly hope you complete it before your human experience ends. You made me laugh when you told people not to judge you. Well I’m not sympathizing with you but I am going to judge you. Giving you an A+

Haha yeah, this build has been a true adventure! I've put lot's of obstacles on my road all by myself haha. At least I'll have it built to a point it will be fonctionnal! ... If I can find a couple tubes to buy around my location lol! I'm hoping to reach phase 2 to at least start it so the nephew would have a good idea of what to do. Thanks for your comment. I'll do my best to show yall something powered on and visually appealing in the next couple weeks!

                • Adding some progress to the Novel

Managed to do almost all the long runs. But going to move the top rad real soon and add a second one for the gpu loop. Temps with, the new z490 Formula are impressive. Got a recording of the Oled but can't show it here.
                  idle: CPU: 27°
                  VRM:32°
                  Coolant:24°
And so on. Yup! I like it like that!

Ordering 12 fans + radiator + tubes and maybe a Quadro since the Octo is out of stock. As long as there is enough fans left.. or else, ima have to order directly from EKfrom only I could reserve lol... But anyways, pictures incoming!

I decided to remove the little straight run to go with this instead. I like it more and friends said they liked it too.

Shortened that run because I'm out of tubes and I don't need to use the filters anymore...

That's about it before filling both loops... Oh, forgot to say!!! I dig the frosting when it's not solid liquid so going to replace for clear and clear blue at the same tube I do the new runs.. that means extra work and disassembling bit it's gona be much better me think!

air bleeding has been a pain for the cpu loop... can't tilt that case or the doors might break lol... so it was on and off and on and off...

Yeah... Didn't think I'd ever need that little guy again but I broken the vertical GPU mount... gona have to get that as well... Oh! And did I say my windows can't be used anymore??? Yep, learned that yesterday! Changed hardwares too often... Even called Microsoft line for stuff like that and I need a new one... I hate to buy only keys when the pc isn't for me. So it's another 200$ ima have to invest in that thing.. Of course, it couldn't go simple or it would've broken the chain of issues I've been getting.

                    • Nice update. I bought the last Octo from Dazmode. I got tired of my AQ6LT due to it size and the extra cabling work needed. That and all the accidents that occur when my hands accidently hit screws and case corners.

It's cool. I'll just get two Quadro. Will do the same job. These controller can handle a bunch of fans so I'll chain them 3x3.

More updates will be coming soon. Got a bunch of new parts last week from Daz. Pissed at myself right now... Placed another order. Was looking to buy a fan and rgb controller, the Octo more precisely but they were out of stock.. so I told myself I'd wait and was expecting a couple weeks before he would get more. So I went ahead and order bunch of other stuff... almost 1k just this week In parts... just to wakeup this morning and see Daz has received the Farbwerk 360 and restocked on the Octo!!! That's how my luck has been since I started this project!!!!
I wana cry now , no joke!
Anyways, see ya all in a couple weeks, once I have upgraded that thing...

I know. If I didn't need the octo I would've taken it but I won't need it. I got the bitspower one until I order the octo.
