  • Help choosing res and new fittings

Okay so I finished my first watercooling setup, it looks like this:

I want to make it look better and fix a couple things, primarily with angled fittings and a tube res.

I originally had the top radiator the other direction but with only straight fittings the tubing was under a lot of stress to fit into the cpu, so I swapped it around. The tube between the gpu and cpu is not under much stress so I don't really want to spend $40 bucks for angled fittings for that, but I think I want to turn the radiator back around and use at least two angled fittings between cpu and radiator.

The long line between the bottom gpu and the bottom res was a bit of a lazy moment for me, and I plan on adding a t-line there for a drain. Would you guys turn that bottom res around? Will definitely need some angled fittings to accopmlish that because its so tight.

Now, my res/pump is just sitting there on top of the radiator. Obviously not ideal and doesn't really look good. I want to get a pump/res combo and have been looking at the following options, which one would you guys recommend for looks/dollars?

    Bitspower option:
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...ylic_version_/ $60.49
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...sion_red_tube/ $48.99
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...it_-_red_ver2/ $57.25
$166.73 to get a pump/res (holy crap) from bitspower, is that dressing kit needed to make it work?

EK option (if I understand correctly)
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...servoir_combo/
$91.01, and I wouldn't need any other parts I believe? The reservoir is probably smaller than I would like but I believe I could upgrade the tube length if I want?

    Aquacomputer:
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...0-x-100-ml-g14 $54.99
    https://www.dazmode.com/store/produc...h-aqualis-g14/ $49.99

$104.98 total, though I would probably want a larger res when/if they come into stock.

I also plan on adding two darkside red ccfls, where would the best spot be to place them for the ambient effect?

The bottom HDD cage is probably coming out, and eventually the other HDD cage is also probably coming out as I switch to NAS storage, so maybe I could use that space for a reservoir?

I also just noticed my Intel 730 SSD looks really awful, time to move that thing...

I recommend the Darkside LED, as opposed to the CCFL for many reasons, highlighted in Daz's video.

LED especially great cause you can add them to a fan controller and dim to your liking.

HDD cages are for wussies. tear em out and utilize that space for your rez.
but which rez/pump combo is all about aesthetics... and whats in your budget.
the fancy dressing kit on BP is only an optional accessory.
so maybe you could add it later on?
