  • PWM vs Voltage fan

    Hi guys

Is there any advantage for switching my Darkside Voltage GT's to PWM GT's? I recently bought a pedestal for my TH10A and went up to 560 rads for it. so I got some PWM Noctua's going to an Aquaero 6XT, it seems like for some reason the Voltage controlled fans RPM fans won't show up once I hook my PWM fans to another channel. I have changed the respective channels to proper control as well. PWM control for PWM fans, and voltage control for the GT's. Do PWM fans control better as lower RPMs? Thanks for any advice or help I can get.

As far as I am aware the PWM signal just lets you run your fans slower than with just voltage. For example a PWM fan might be 1200-400rpm, but a voltage controlled fan will probably only do 1200-800 or something similar.
