  • GPU Cooling - 980ti Poseidon

I'm looking for options for watercooling an Asus 980ti Poseidon.
My objective is basically to put water in it. Reliably.
    Nothing fancy. Nothing loud.

    Thank you!

Get yourself a starter kit from dazmode and cpu block if ya want and connect this inline on the loop. you need 2 g1/4 x what ever you are using for tubing from the kit. So pump, rad, tubing, res (optional but easier to fill system), block for cpu probably and fittings to connect all the mentioned. Make sure your case will handle the rad you are going to use and that is about it.

      Thank you. CPU block? No.

This is what I'd like, but smaller, like a 120 AIO.

Some guy installs the 240 predator onto a Poseidon 980 here.

Again, it's too large. I simply want water to flow through it.

Lol ok. Aio for gpu, universal would imagine, then maybe new fans for the noise.

          This should do it.

I need to figure out how to fit it to the Poseidon. Checking the box I've found nothing.

Will the AIO come with everything I'll need?

Must have to do with where the pump is.

              My search continues.

              [edit]

              I suspect this will work.

              Price is way too much.

As I mention in a previous post you need a pump, tubing and a rad and fans to add only this vid card to a system it is geared towards people with a loop already and want to add a vid into it. Aio only a few allow adding things, ek has them and a few others. You basically bought a card that can be added to an existing open concept loop (one that allows you to add things and add fluid, hense me mentioning a res).

                  Thank you.

If I can find something similar but cheaper than the EK-XLC Predator 140 I feel I'll have found what will work for me.

The Poseidon info says it's G1/4-inch threaded fittings. Not sure what that would mean for tube size for the Swiftech H140-X. I suppose, this depends on the barbs?

Barbs or use compression fitting tube size to g1/4 thread x 2

                            Excellent!

Due to availability shipping to Canada, and pricing, I've chosen to go with the Swiftech H240 X2 2x140 mm Drive X2 AIO CPU Cooler

For tubing (length not yet determined) I'm likely going with Dazmode's Bargain Deal - 3/8" ID - 1/2" OD - Purple/UV ORANGE (1')

The 980ti Poseidon page says "G1/4-inch threaded fittings: Freedom to choose the best barb for you"

I'm browsing here https://www.dazmode.com/store/category/fittings/ but I'd like an opinion from the more experienced.

So with this u get a cpu block and can add your Poseidon into the loop you need 2-1/2” OD (3/8" ID) compression fittings x g1/4 too connect your card. Not allot of glaring reviews on this it seems, consider replacing all the fittings maybe in order to avoid problems.
