  • EK FC 7870 Block

Just so I can make my payment order I'm curious I need a EK-FC Link BLANK Serial CSQ or the EK-FC Bridge SINGLE CSQ? Because according to the picture I want it to look just like that but I want to be sure thanks. The Picture you see is by MyBadOmen just using it as an example for the FC-Link

I need to open box... but I'm pretty sure it does not include link... they start adding it in later models.

That exactly what I need but the EK 7870 doesn't come with any of those. I ordered the EK-FC Link BLANK Serial CSQ so I'm pretty sure it's that one if not I'll have to get the EKWB - EK-FC Bridge SINGLE CSQ. It's just so confusing with these EK-FC adapters.

It doesn't come with the FC-Link as it shows in the enclosed on what it comes with the package which is Enclosed:
              - EK-FC7870 series water block
              - mounting mechanism with screw-in brass standoffs
              - thermal pads. That all I see but no FC-Links so you'll have to buy one separately. But I need the one that gdesmo has. That exactly what I need, I don't know if Dazmode sells that here.

I double checked and the link did come with the block I ordered because the screw and O-rings are still in the original package with the mounting screws. Don't know if they have changed their packaging now.

Well it seems like I have to cancel my orders and get refunds because my XFX 7870 won't fit that EK-FC7870 Block...Strangely EK shows it fits (FX-787A-CDFC) and that my model number but somehow my PCB doesn't look the same as it should be in order to make the EKWB fit...Here is an example picture I took from Google because if I removed my GPU stock cooling fans I wouldn't be able to return it. The PCB on the left is what I have and the PCB on the right is what it should be.

Actually you must have looked at the EK charts incorrectly because it shows clearly that it does not support that card. Cards supported are the CNFC-CNBC-CDBC. 7870 cards Not supported are the CDFC and CDBC.

This is what I checked my XFX 7870 model is CDFC and it says it's supported. Until i look closely to my PCB it's not the right one.

You may have a revised board there, because that is not reference.

Get a 7970, a lot of good deals to be had. Have seen them as low as 269 with rebate.
