  • XSPC Razer 780/titan block/backplate Clash's with ASUS Rampage IV Extreme

Recently got a 780 and slapped on a XSPC Razer 780 block and XSPC back plate, looks great easy to put on yadda yadda.
Heres the problem theres a screw for the back plate n block that sits right in the spot where the 6 pin pci-e power on the ASUS rampage iv Extreme sits.
it can be slightly plugged in but i dont want to force it.
the back plate also touchs the Rear IO ports

Not sure if other blocks do the same id imagine if they were counter sunk screws it would be fine

Exact same thing on my RIVE with koolance block and EK backplate on a hd7970

And same thing on a maximus V extreme with EK block and new backplate
And razor 7970 with coldzero backplate

    Just never used this connector
And have 3 hd7970 and a xonar phoebus. Never have any issue

    How many 780 you have?
If you haVe 2 or less , no need for this connector, ( from asus rep on rog forum)
And he said to me, if im not try to have a monster overclock on 4 gpu, not really need to connect it
This is more for pro benchmarker than gamers

just running a single card now so no issue, just pointing it out incase others about to do a build or upgrade cards.
