  • TFC SLI vid connector problem

Hi I just got these fittings (TFC SLI vid connector from Dazmode). I installed it and it does not stop leaking from both connections. Is there something I can do? At the price I paid it is not worth RMA'ing.

    Thanks

O-rings missing or mis-aligned. I have 5 sets and find them great, did you possibly nick an o-ring when installing ?

Thanks for the responses. The o-rings are there and look fine to me. I should have taken pictures but the leaking bothered me so I removed it right away. The leaking occured around were the tube entered the fittings on both end and with 2 different tube length.

Did you make assembly first or tried to push tube while having cards already in PCI slots?

I had customers in the past who manage to break those when tried to force tube between installed cards.

I assembled the thing before putting the card in their slots. Are the o-rings standard? Can I try to replace them with regular ones?

No reason why you can't, just have to make sure they are the same or just a tiny bit tighter.

There standard o-ring on G1/4 treads and non-standard oring(s) inside the fitting.
