Quick question, what does your sound card need? x4 or x8?

I'm asking this because your 5820K gives you 28 lanes...24 will go for the 3-sli so you still have 4 lanes available.

4X but the issue is the motherboard

for now I stay in dual SLI BUT
with a 28 lane CPU some PCIE cant be use for GPU and some are disabled, need to have GPU on top and one on bottom and Sound card in middle
its very ugly, with a 40 lane I can use the top one , and the third one and sound card on bottom slot and when the third GPU will be at my door just need to move the GPU fro third to second and add the third GPU to the fourth slot and that's it

with 28 lane the bottom slot and third are disable, ridiculous

without sound card..........everything will be perfect but I really want my sound card
