  • Fs: 1981 ibm pc 5150 *SOLD*

SOLD Also thinking about selling an IBM Personal Computer model 5150 - that's the very first model circa 1981. I have an original matching keyboard (complete with ComputerLand logo) for it, and a compatible monitor (though not the original one). I don't think I have any software/manuals, with have to double check. It starts and boots into ROM Basic.

    TI-99/4 sold to bungwirez.

      Hey bungz!

I need to test the TI-99/4 (not 4A) to make sure it works, as I haven't turned it on in decades! I bought it used in 1982 I believe , and used it while at university. My dad later used it for a little while when I graduated to PC's, but since then it's been in a box. I used to have a 4k expansion module for it, but I don't see it in the box - probably means it's gone but I'll look.

The keyboard doesn't have a model number printed on it. It's beige, and has a small silver plaque in the upper left that says "IBM Personal Computer" in black. It could use a good cleaning, and two of the cork pads are missing.

I have to be careful here, I haven't posted pics of this stuff yet and the admins might get after me

      Cheers,

      G

So far I have been unable to test the TI-99/4. That is, it powers on, but the output on the video modulator is twin lead VHF, and I have nothing that works with it.

Now looking for an Oculus Rift DK2. Can't afford a CV1 or Vive, and want to get my virtual feet wet!

            Found one!
