  • E22 fittings

    hey up. http://www.e22.biz/

these E22 fittings are designed for rigid tubes - two sizes 10mm and 12mm OD acrylic or copper.

    two questions...
HomeDepot sizes are not metric... so what copper tube goes with what?

and this is import only product. so you think better order from e22 direct, or PerfPC? - costs same, just shipping/customs. IDK?

    thanks advice!

Finding copper tubing the right size might be an issue. For 10mm fitting you will need 11/28" tubing. For 12mm fitting you will need 17/36" tubing.

I think it would be cheaper to get the fittings from PerforancePC. I assume the taxes/duties would be cheaper?

Personally I would stay away from these fittings, you will be stuck using their tubing and most important was the link. It said you will have to tighten fittings with a wrench for the hex joint. That makes me wonder whether or not you may accidentally strip a thread on a fitting or God forbid on a cherished block ! Btw Mario did you make up those fractional measurements ?

maybe use primochill ghost fitings for copper

they are 1/2" instead of mm

Just a conversion from millimeters to inches to fractions. Something tells me they don't make copper tubing in those sizes...

thanks for the advice guys. Primochill and Koolance have something similar.

I want to get some MNPCtech kit anyway, so maybe I'll get one of those fittings thrown in as a tester....
