  • Black thing in the lr build

    well water cooling parts should start arriving next week for this htpc

    Build list:

    Fractal Design Node 605
    I7 4770K cpu
    Asus Z97i-Plus m-itx Mb
    XFX radeon 7970
    128 gb oc vertex 3 ssd
    2tb and 1tb storage drives

    Cooling Parts list:
    Universal Dazmode se cpu water block (2014)
    160mm dual 80 rad black ice extreme

    120mm single Darkside 33mm rad
    3.2 Dcc pump/PWM
    Bottle of Ice Dragon
    and will post a pic of the army of fittings 3/8" x 1/2" and parts I will possibly use.

        3770K IHS removed-Max V gene-2x4gig ram Gskills 2400 Trident X-2x400watt Qmax TEC`s with dew point controller-420 Monsta rad for TEC hotside-360 TFC Xchanger for dual 670`s-RP452 res with 2xD5 vario pumps- HF Supreme with modified plate-DD Cp Pro pump for cold side of TEC and cpu block-Dual CM haf 922`s and a Seasonic X-1250 Psu

          ya will use one mem block on my H1 gpc, maybe one in here also, not sure on room yet till I do the layout.

            Wow not related to this build but sleeving and I use the term loosly sucks..



            got the swiftech back to semi normal wiring with the help of G and some pictures

              Parts arrived from Daz yesterday, everything was mint as usual. Thx Daz, still waiting on the f-cpu rad, will throw up some loot pics later tonight.

                          well only partly burnt out, been a long week at work, but she is time to get this build going, picked up a couple of 80mm r2 silent fractal design fans yesterday for the bie rad, may as well keep all the fans the same for this endevour . You can start the stop watch Daz

                            well got it going, but not liked had planned. Vid card and 120mm rad wont fit, had to mod the crossbar to get the 180mm rad in also. pics to follow:

                              System is nice and quiet and at least the cpu has some decent cooling now. Removed the sponge from the res any reason that I shouldn't use this thing?

                              All in all turned out ok, wish vid would have fit also the 120 rad but do no gaming on this thing anyway, onboard vid is fine for watching movies and surfing the net...
