  • A Silverstone FT03-Mini Fully Watercooled r9 295x2 mod

This is my second water-cooled build with the focus of top-tier performance/cooling in a compact case. This machine is used mainly for benching, schoolwork and gaming. The highlight of the build is the water cooling loop. The emphasis is placed on using fittings and adapters instead of tubing to connect in tight spaces while maintaining nice lines. Total tubing used was probably less than 10 inches. Total fittings used was around 40. Had a great experience modding this.

    CPU: 4.7ghz i7-4770k
    GPU: R9 295x2
    RAM: Trident X 2x4GB
    MOBO: ASUS Maximus Impact VI

    Watercooling:
Aquacomputer 295x2 nickel plexi block with active backplate
Maximus VI impact full cover nickel plexi polished
    EK, Enzotech, Bitspower, swiftech bits

If you guys liked this build, head over to Mod of the Month on OCN to show some support by voting!

Wow that's a tight fit! Must have taken a while to figure out what order to put things together.
Does the pump run loud? The pump looks supported by only the fittings and i thought that might transfer quite a bit of vibration to the rad.
Nice builds this month but you got my vote for motm!

Cool! Was wondering when i'd see the likes of a custom build in that little case. Well done.
From what i can see , you didn't put in a reservoir right?
        Looks very nice.

Very nicely done both internally and externally.

Excellently executed! That's a ton of power in a small space!

The top rad looks like it's acting as the reservoir and the place to fill it up.
That's a cool way to fit a pump in a tight spot, you've given me some ideas to play with.

Now if only my "Be Quiet" fans would get here....

                Thanks guys!

I did not put a res in there but the top 120mm res was mainly used as a res to bleed the loop.
It was still very difficult as you cannot see if there is air in it unless you open the ports and tilt it around.

The pump is not loud as it is on a rad that is on a cougar fan which has anti vibration pads on it. The loudest part is the cougar fans themselves, at 800 rpm (lowest speed) they make a electric motor noise.

Don't forget to vote for me! The competition is fierce

Cennis: you should post a link to the competition. That would make things easier for the lazy (read: me).

I am glad to see the fittings are in the build.
Also, I will be trying to turn my res upside down. If it works, then I will have something for you that you were looking for a while ago.
