  • Monolith Rebuild MATX edition

Finally dropping my shinobi XL build for a smaller footprint.
    Part's list
    3930k
    Rampage IV Gene
    16GB ripjaw x memory
    Dual MSI 7950 twinfrozr III
    crucial M4 256GB SSD
    350D
    EK Supreme HF
    EK mosfit WB
    Black Ice GTS Stealth 240
It's part of the living now, going threw valley at 1440p

Previous parts and the original formula IV to be stripped down

Prepping up the case and getting ready to take apart blocks for cleaning

Everything thrown into case with final placement currently waiting on the black ice rad, Getting it from a buddy on a cheap . Turn's out the ex240 with the 8 pin cpu power placement a fan can't be installed on the rad top mounted, bit of an oversight by me.

    Front of case:

Interesting indeed! I'm curious to see how this ends up! Especially since we have very similar hardware.

Pretty cool. Did you fill it with case on it's side?

Yes I will be, currently I'm waiting on my buddy with the rad so I can continue.

Got the rad now for the leak testing, Incredible easy to fill and on top of that the pump is dead silent at max speed

Was very painless, once filled there where a few small pockets in the blocks all I had to do was throw her on her back air escaped, then a few rocks and she was basically good.
There where just a few micro bubbles in the tubes that worked themselves out after an hour or so.

Only problem I'm facing at the moment is fairly high cpu temps this rad is 30fpi and I'm running my fans to slow (7V, there sp120 quiets) so I'm going to have to play with those.
