    im on new project,

    Snef's "Sand of God"

    very hard to find good name lollll



    this rig will be my main rig, replacement of extremmmme red demon


    start with parts list

    Hardware
    Cpu: Intel I7 4770k:
    Motherboard: Asus Gryphon with Armor kit
    Mem: 16 Gb (4x4)Corsair Dominator GT 2133:
    GPU: 2 x AMD R9 290x or 2 x gtx780 reference
    Case:Caselabs S5 with Pedestal white
    PSU: Silverstone ST1200-G with pp05 short cable
    SSD: OS: 4 x Samsung 840 pro 128GB and 1 x samsung evo 1TB

    Cooling
    Fan: 16 x Enermax white
    Fan Controller: Aquaero 6
    CPU Block: EK Supremacy (CSQ) Plexi Nickel (polish) or clean:
    Ram Block: EK Ram CSP plexi nickel (polish) or clean
    GPU: 2 x ..........
    GPU: Backplate white

    need to fing how to mix coolant and dye to have the right yellow

        Would try a light brown colour and add tiny amounts of yellow, if they make anything in brown. Maybe Sands of (modder) God, referring to us mere mortals at the feet of modder gods (snef). Incredibly nice list of parts !

            Would be awesome if you could figure a way to incorporate actual sand into the build.

                Maybe an ant farm with acrylic sides, don't think you want to put anything that abrasive near any moving parts.

                      Yes, the exact color sheme but i need mATX,

                      And i know asus make a black/gold matx motherboard Z87M-plus
                      But no sli/crossfire support, only one 16x pcie

                      Asus release another great x79 board
                      The Asus Rampage IV Black edition


                      But still x79
                      Wait for new chipset for haswel-E

                        That's why I said acrylic, clearcoat the 3 inch angel and you should be fine. Time for the vacuum and get those pesky little ants !

                            Black and red or black and gold, I love them both. Once I get my butt in gear I can throw my ECS into a custom made aluminum and acrylic case that I am planning out. Only Z77 but sweet looking and works pretty well. Click image for larger version
