Shipping always been this expensive?

I just wanted to buy 2 compression fittings or barbs and 3 feet of soft tube to use for filling/emptying my loop and the shipping estimator is telling me $25 for shipping WITHIN Canada... is the box the size of a bicycle?

My previous order was over $500 last month and it was only $35 for way more components.

I thought Daz didn't do small orders for some CP-related reason though? I noticed the same thing long ago, and it's pretty much the only minor complaint I ever had with Daz, that we can't order in small batches. I thought there was a reason for this, but I can't remember.

Just paid $12 for shipping of a half dozen fittings with CP. I am in the GTA though.
