I own one of these and had no idea there was an issue with leaks.

Apparently Daz has found the problem, and offers a solution.

post up here if you have issues with leaking, and some pics if you can.
I'll be checking mine more closely as its not in a running system,
and although I've already run it in a test loop,
Its totally worth examining again before I put it to work in a full system.

If it does not leak, it does not leak.

There are only isolated incidents of side panels failing. Ironically it is the only part of radiator made in China.

Does this just affect the 240 models, or the 360 as well?

Can be any model, side panel is the same. This is not something that develop over time, it cracked right away.

Damn I'm a bad luck kinda guy. Just found a leak on my 360. Thankfully it's only tiny and not too troublesome, although it did drip right onto my main 3TB RAID1 array that I just bought a few months back. DOH!

Daz: what now sir? End tank replacement?

There's lots to laugh about in that bottom pic.

Just seeing as there's been recent movement in the Admiral Rad department,
It probably fair to bump this thread with updated info.

If you own one of these units, please remove the end cap and check for signs of decay.
                          Typically around the O-Ring.

If your unit has "never seen water," then you might be lucky.
But definitely proceed to epoxy the gaps around the exterior of the endplate - as you see in this pic...

I made this fix and have been running my Admiral Rad 24/7 since last April. no issues

Did you just fill each hole up with epoxy and let it dry overnight?
