Provides airflow to the cards and back of the PCB. Not everything on a card is watercooled, even backplates can get quite hot under stress.

You're a little nuts yeah, no it's on the correct way feeding air from the cage to the GPUs. The rear exhaust fan however, is turned around. I'm using it as an intake with a dust filter for better positive air pressure.
