Question about what to fill my loop with if I'm using PETG tubing.
ya some more info would be better in descriptions even the fact that most crystal link is 12 mm is not always listed in title or description . I use 16 mm so is listed in title and des.
Well, I am totally in reverse with a majority of people on this topic...... I used Acrylic Rigid Tubing first in my W/C Loop, and I had a few problems. One was a hairline crack formed in one of my runs of tubing, this later caused a slow leak (which I caught) before serious damage occurred. Also it is a little more difficult to cut, and is not shatter proof.... I think it comes down to personal preference, really, and with the issues I have had with the Acrylic Rigid Tube, I will stick with PET-G!!
Fluid compatability is also a consideration, guess I am old school even though both are new, I prefer acrylic, maybe you had a bad run on yours MK inc.
Plus I try to keep hammers out of my computer case...😎
