ATTENTION: This dye is not compatible with Glycol based additives, such as DazMode Protector. Alcohol will bleach organic pigment.

I own some mayhems biocide I got from performance-pcs.com, it is just a solution of copper sulphate. You can buy pool biocides that are just crystallized versions of the liquid at pool stores and Canadian tire. Other options are using a Feser dye, that will work with protector, or buy from the states.

really the best thing to do is just not introduce biologics into your system during the build phase.
how? wear some latex gloves to assemble. don't blow into your tubes or fittings. boil/sterilize fittings, blocks and tube prior to install.
if you keep things clean, there should never be a need to worry about things growing.
that said.. I'll never use Mayhems or any colored fluid.
My preference is to go with color acrylic tube, distilled H2O and DazProtect.

can I sterilize the part with alcohol?

ya, rubbing alcohol works great for making clean surfaces more sterile.
its what you get before getting a needle from your nurse.
but for what its worth, parts are perfectly sterile until you take them out of the wrapper.
then if you're like most builders, the parts sit around.
they get fondled and oogled and drooled all over and lined up for photos
and passed around like a rented mule, long before they end up in the build.

Never like PT, I think it creates plating issues.__________________________________________________

So if I understand correctly, here are the recommended options when considering coloring fluid :
1.
Distilled Water
Mayhems Dye(s)
Mayhems Biocide Extreme OR Copper Sulphate
[No anti corrosive agent here]
2.
Distilled Water
Mayhems X1 Clear or Colored
Mayhem Dye(s) (if needed)
[No further additive needed]
3.
Distilled Water
Mayhems Pastel White or Colored
Mayhem Dye(s) (if needed)
[No further additive needed]
4.
Distilled Water
Feser One (colored)
[No further additive needed]
5.
Distilled Water
Feser View Dye (only one)
Dazmode Protector
[No further additive needed]
Is that correct ? Any other recommended options ?

Over the years I have used Koolance's fluid, FluidXP, and Feser for colored fluids.
Koolance fluid was strictly a cost of shipping issue, fluid worked great otherwise.
I didn't like FluidXP it seemed to leave a film on everything when taking things apart/flushing that created a lot of extra work.
I stopped bouncing around after I started ordering Feser fluids through Daz.
I do intend to move to a dye + distilled approach moving forward, space of storage, cost of distilled playing a part in that.Corsair 800D

I am a huge huge huge fan of Mayhems pastel fluids. They seem to last for years and never seem to discolor, they also come preloaded with biocide and anti corrosion.
