  • Using single sleeved LEDs with CONNECT options

Is there somewhere on your website where I can read about the different types of power connections using Darkside CONNECT? I have 2 acrylic GPUs and I want to add 2 x 3mm white LEDs to each one, I want them to be as bright as possible, but I also want to minimize the power connectors. I'd like to avoid having to plug every LED in individually. I need to do the same with some other components that have room for 5mm LEDs. I just need to familiarize myself with the different power CONNECT options as I would like to minimize the wiring in my PC.

Also, are all the individual LEDs only available with black sleeving or can I pay a premium to have the LEDs sleeved in white? Last time I used the Darkside products was when Daz came out with the LED strip, which he was selling through FrozenCPU, but things have changed a lot since then. I'd greatly appreciate some advice or a link where I can read up on the different power options. Thanks!

My host had network circuitry upgrade tonight, somehow it made store (but not forum or other parts) hang. Rebooted server and all hunky dory now. Was little scared for a minute.

Max LED brightness is at full 12v, nothing you can do further. Bigger 5mm led are brighter.

I used to drill additional LED holes in my blocks, but there some risks obviously.

All cables types come in 30cm and 10cm lengths.

Awesome, thanks. I bought 3 of your Darkside RGB LED strips, long ago when they first came out, from FrozenCPU, and at the time, these had to be connected to one of those white power adapter boxes. I'm assuming all of your new strips no longer need to use one of those white boxes anymore, but if I were to use these old strips, do they still need one of those boxes to work or can they connect directly to your new modular power cables?

I'm about to order some individual tailed LEDs from Joe at ModMyMods since I'm in the states, and I was just wondering, if I wanted to use your strips in my new build, do I need to order the newer strips to work with your CONNECT modular power cables or will these still work?

Oh, no. RGB light is totally different story. It is still require a controller and they have their own splitters and such as RGB has 4 power wires vs 2 for single color light.
