  • Need help picking res+pump mount

    Hey all.
Doing abit of an upgrade to my loop and in need of a tube res+pump mount.
It'll be vertical and maybe mounted to the base of a case. I do have my old d5 pump i'll be reusing.
    Not taller then 200ml.
    I use 1/2"ID - 3/4"OD fittings+tube

    Something like this.

Im also interested in what machiningguy used in his w100 build(res pump combo) http://www.dazmode.com/_forum/showth...ake-W100-Build
he doesn't say what he used for his res, so maybe you guys can help with identifying it.

    Is this any good?

The Eisbecher DDC150mm Res and Pump mount won't work with your existing D5 Pump.
You would need the D5 version to work with your pump.

Looks like the Pump Res used by machiningguy is an EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM (incl.pump) - Glass .
Not sure that you can get that one with out purchasing the pump with it.

The new HEATKILLERĀ® Tube 150 D5 looks pretty dam sweet to me.

I use 1 bottle of Daz Protect to 4l of water. Never had a problem with it so far.

Tanx Hooded. Meant to put d5 link in there, glad you caught on that.
So, if i go with The Eisbecher D5, my D5 VARIO 8-24V Pump should fit no problem i hope

Also for The Eisbecher, notice at the bottom sais-
In order to use the intake from the top, a G1/4” extension piece is necessary (article 1011183-1011186)
Does such piece exist in Dazs store?

Any GĀ¼" threaded spacer, 5mm or longer, should work as the required extension.
Choices are many. Male to Male, Male to Female

Your D5 should fit like a glove.

Hey guys thanks for the props!
The pump res combo is an xspc D5 Photon. I've been looking around for a second but the only place that sells them here is NCIX. Always on back order.

If ya plan on using that thermaltake res pump combo I'd read up on it. Jays two cents was mentioning that the tubes had some problems with cracking.
