EK Predator 240 questions

Hey guys i want to use my EK-predator attached with a X99-monoblock for Asus Deluxe.....would it work fine how would temps be?? Also i was looking at changing the tube to mayhems white absorbing one....is that tubing like the ZMT by EK? im moving the Deluxe in a smaller case if your wondering ....900D is to collus-assho....i do like the 900D...ill try move it locally...haha.

It will be the same as any dual radiator custom loop plus incredible pain of filling it up as there is no reservoir part. But it is doable.

A dual bay rad is big enough to work well but to get really good temps a triple would be better for a mono-block, especially if you looking to overclock your CPU.

Re-filling shouldn't be too much of a pain ill be using my ethoo pro M....it has a slide out 3x120 fan on top...just got to make sure i have enough tube to slide out and fill....

Also i was looking at the ek-pred 360 too as my option......atm i'm not OC'd i just like the silent killer build were u panic cause its too quiet...is it even on type system...will grab some tube soon......
actually ill mount that ek-pred in that case see if i can re-fill it when its slid out...haha

There are not hardly two handfuls of builds that mod the tubes on AIO.
and the EK-Pred is screaming for it.

well im not totally disappointed....i need a 360 pred this idles around 50c then skyrockets to 90c full load....vardar fans arent quiet at full load haha....



the predator 240 will be back....dont count him out yet....putting him in my M-ITX build.....itx is running stock intel cooler....
off to run Prime95 for a bit....

50 on idle seems awful high to me.
Re-seat block and recheck fill for air lock issues.

ok ok got home.....took this shit apart....repasted...refilled for round 2....tighten that mono on super tight screws have no play what so ever...stole the mosfet backplate from my x99 mosfet block....results same...lower turn on though 37c....prime95 100% load 87-89 so better...lga2011 is hot to cool i guess....ill have to clean dirt / dust from the 900D and everything goes back in it.....sigh....enormous ass 900d why'd i buy it...sigh....roomy though...placing this predator in ethoo primo pro M....KUDOs to the builders that fit 1 triple and 1 double rad in here haha...that shits tight haha...

Somethings wrong there. Those temps are way off, still. My LGA2011 CPU hasn't seen 60C under full load yet, and it's OCed.
