  • DDC Pump not pumping

Moved my computer from one room to another, and now my pump isn't pumping. It wasn't bumped around, and nothing was changed. If I put my hand on the pump, it feels like it starts to try than stops. Like a vrrrrrrrSTOP. Vrrrrrr STOP.

Dead pump? Is there more trouble shooting that I could do other than unplugging it and trying a different power port?

You could try taking it apart and cleaning it, maybe will help. Turn your system upside down before removing the pump u maynot need to remove coolant that way if you have any space in the system idea.

It's a Splash. There's no room for anything lol. I took a video of what it looks like through my reservoir. Will upload shortly.

Either protection kicks in or electronics fried.

Protection would be from a blockage or something?

YEs if impeller jammed it will do that. But I would check all power cables first.

its just super weird that it would go from working fine, and simply relocating your PC to another room causes fail...

Yeah. I tried a different power plug. No change. Trying to figure out a way to get at the pump without taking apart the whole computer but it's not looking promising

Well. Took it apart. The pump when out of the case struggled for a second then sounded like it dislodged something and started spinning freely. Fingers crossed but will order a spare soon.

Didn't help. Still not working. Guess it's time to take it all apart.

Cpu block was totally clogged up with debris from something. Cleaning everything now. Sigh.

Yeah pump is toast. Won't work at all even with no obstructions.
