  • Bitspower RAM block help (and restock)

    Hello Crew,

I'm looking at the Dazmode lineup for RAM waterblocks to cool 4 side-by-side DIMMs of Kingston Savage DDR4 on the Maximus VIII formula. The Galaxy Freezer DIMM4 RAM Liquid Cooling Block - Clear Ver 2 (part number BP-WBDM4ACV2-CL) seems like a good choice. As for the RAM covers themselves, I guess I don't have much choice and the Universal RAM Cover II – Aluminum For DIMM Water Block (set of 2) (part number BP-RAMCVALII-BK) seems like what I need.

However, I'd like to confirm the compatibility of the covers with the RAM and the covers with the block and there's isn't a ton of information available.

    Can anyone confirm these compatibilities?

On a side note, I'd need 2 sets of 2 covers and I see that there's only 1 in stock. Daz, can you give me an ETA on additional Bitspower stock or do you have additional incoming varieties to choose from?

    Regards,

yep. actually one of the more, "universal" components.

Daz just got a big ship of BP in the last couple weeks... could be a little while.

I'll check around my closet for something - maybe?

works as long as PCB standard height, not extended like on Dominator RAM.

If you have 1 or 2 black cover sets of 2, I'll take them.

What about single VS double sided RAM DIMMs, wouldn't covers force compatibility to one of those layouts?

I'll message you if restock with Daz is not an option. Thanks for the heads up.
