    Nope
A fan controller will have the same small 3 fan plug as on the fans. How ever to daisy chain then you need something like a Y-adapter that will plug in two fans to one port.
I usually make my own by soldiering the the fans power cables together so I only have 1 3 pin plug. Helps to reduce the cable clutter.
I was lutros method for doing a double wire to make.

Basically i think we are talking about 2 different things here.
About GT Fans and fan controllers and why im asking about that adapter
        from another site

The reason you need that adapter is because the fan controller has a 3 pin connection and the fan's power requires a 4 pin connection.

The only thing the 3 pin harness on the fan reports is RPM's, it doesn't carry power to the fan so you can't control the fans speed by plugging that into the controller.

In order to slow the fan down via the controller is you have to limit the juice going to it. So you have to hook up the fans power to the controller and presto you can control your fan

I have no idea what that guys saying nor what you are asking.

Power to Fan controller from PSU via a regular molex 4pin power connector
Fans to Fan controller require 3pin female connectors.

Don't make it harder than it needs be.
          What Fan controller exactly?

I have never needed a crap cable like that unless I was trying to run fan directly from PSU and daisy chaining them together..

You are NOT if your using a Fan controller.

Black series AP-29 and up has molex connector, not 3-pin fan connector because rating is over 1amp and will burn 99% of controllers on the market.

P.S. I'm banned on RRtech, so no links are allowed on my forum to them either.

1 amp is 12w most decent controllers are good for 30w per channel.

should list your controller and the fan

Like Hooded has stated I too made my own 3 fan adapter cables which allow me to run 3 GTAP15s off one 50 watt channel and 3 fans off another 50 watt channel for push pull. I find if I run the push fans at a little lower speed than the pull fans I seem to get a little better air flow through the rad.

You can actually run AP-15 or two on any controller, they are only 0.12A if I'm not mistaken.
