  • Tubing recomendation

I just found out that I ordered the wrong model of tygon tubing.
    I ordered the Tygon E-1000.

    http://www.overclock.net/t/1347354/tygon-user-club

Description: With plasticizer-free tubing starting to catch on in the watercooling industry, Tygon E-1000 satisfies this need. It's forumla will not leave foggy plasticizer deposits that usually "fog" up other brands of tubing. It most closely resembles medical tubing, and certain grades of E-1000 are used in the medical field. It is a waxy, semi-clear tubing.

    Color: Translucent (Foggy) Clear

Durometer (Hardness): 40 [Tygon E-1000 is extremely soft, stretchy tubing. It cannot stand up to it's own weight and kinks extremely easily. Wall thicknesses of 1/16" or smaller are virtually unusable for PC watercooling applications due to it's fragility. Despite it's ultra-soft features, E-1000 can still complete light to medium bends, depending on wall thickness. E-1000 does not work with compression fittings; it is too waxy and therefore can be easily pulled out under any sort of pressure. Similarly, it requires several clamps if being used with barbs].

You guys got any suggestions for a plasticizer-free tubing for compression fittings (size 1/2 ID - 3/4 OD)?

I'm looking for plasticizer free tubing as well. Both my rigs look horrible because of the plasticizer. I have to get off my lazy butt and break down both rigs and give them a good cleaning!

So I got some primochill Advanced LRT blue UV today. It comes with some SysPrep. What do you guys think? Is it worth using?
