    Latest drives, identical cards.

I'm trying to keep everything on DVi as my understanding is that 120mhz cannot be supported over HDMI.

copy past from Nvidia website http://www.geforce.com/hardware/tech...m-requirements

        GeForce GTX 680 2-way SLI Multi-monitor
        > Maximum Resolution: 2560x1600 per display
        > Maximum Displays: 4

        Special Instructions:
        > All displays must be connected to the same card.
        > Orientation can be defined per display.

display port should support 120hz as long as nvidia made the card to output it from their display ports. i have read lot's of ppl using display port to do 120hz.

maybe 2 on DVI and the last on the displayport?

Got HDMI cable today and put all 3 monitors on same card.

Now I can runs SLI, but the monitor on HDMI cable can be set only to 60mhz as I expected.

that's why i recommended the display port instead for the third monitor as it can do 120hz. really i bet you eye can't see much of a difference in term of image flow though the input lag on 120hz is lower. Unless you want to do 3D it shouldn't affect your experience but much.

ummm maybe use the display port? unless you are doing 3D, i am sure your eye's can't see much of a difference though input lag is much better when on 120hz.
