  • Good side design scouting

    Hey guys,

I'm in the process of creating a separate website for DarkSide branded products and looking for cool design clues for such website.

If any of you stumble at cool brand website that you like, post here.

    Thank you in advance!

I signed up for a free trial of squarespace, lots of really nice looking site templates on there.

What kind of site design are you asking about.
A ready made template driven e-store?
      Or custom designed site?

Or you have a template driven site but looking for some cool effects for an opening page or general site layout and look?

Mostly the code these days is fairly generic, based on script libraries . The style/look of a site is handled via Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

Gallery base you can use Joomla CMS. I can design templates for them.

Myself I have my own gallery system I developed in php but I never finish it lol.

Yes many gallery scripts out there.
Check out Hotscripts.com for a gallery written in the coding language you like. These are mostly free for download, and many have demo sites setup.

The basic page layout is usually easily adjusted to suite ones personal taste.
I also lean towards scripts that use either J-Query or Yahoo javascript libraries. Because these are usually already cached on the end users machine and eases the custom script writing.

Just looking over the Nike.com site. It looks like a pretty front page that links into Adobe Flash applications to display products in . Uses the jQuery JavaScript library to handle it's custom scripts.

I have some scrips actually, my problem is that I'm out of cycles to do any coding. So I want to find design I like and call a professional.
