Here's more picture of the paint process. Shotpeening cabinet and part shotpeened:

            Masked parts:

            Disassembled parts:

            Case assembled:

It was really a challenge to align those decals. Considerable work of precision, but it looks like I got it. Phew...
Next, the interesting part : the loop and all of the components.

Here's my final work for the Drift King. Some screenshots of my CAD work, some making-of pictures and final shots. Have fun!

The beginning of the case mod had this look:

                Then, onto the drawing board:

                And some acrylic covers:

With some carbon fiber vinyl wrap:

Cable sleeving. What a pain it was to learn that:

A motherboard tray acrylic cover, with 3D printed plastic grommet:

RAM sticks, painted with metallic blue paint:

Before Pyrex tubing and the waterloop:

                  Final shots:

                  Time to relax now!
I really had fun doing this. I learned a lot during this mod, from cable sleeving to vinyl wrapping, and acrylic cutting and bending. Lots of errors, but hey, I like my Skyline.

Thanks to everyone involved in this competition and see you next year!
