    Check out this build and metal sleeving he has on his tube.

    Would you use something like this? I can scout for source.

      I like that - very unique.
      if you can find the source...

      How about these guys.
      Makers of G1/4 fittings for 10/8mm and 12/10mm acrylic tubes.
      Plus looks like they're selling 1m length of tubes for custom cuts.
      These would likely also take copper pipe?

        The steel tube sleeving looks cool. However it's not something I'd be using in my builds.
        Now some acrylic or plexi tube to fit the crystal link would be great.
        Those push fittings look like a much more secure connection than the crystal link looks but also are a lot bulkier.

          i think it looks good but it would not be something i would do myself. the acrylic does seams a better choice hooded. plus i've seen ppl bend these with a air dryer meaning you can make turns if you so chose to.

            I would consider the metal sleeving in a build however I'd end up having the pieces powder coated or something instead of leaving them bare. I'd probably also notch out the inside a bit and play with some EL wire in between see what kind of effects I could get going.
