  • Azza Confusion

Yeah, I`m at it again never satisfied. Had a free afternoon and decided to play with the Azza 4000, I started by cutting out the 3 1/2 hdd bays so I could fit the Back Ice SR-1 240 rad in the front. Replaced the rear upper psu plate with a supplied grill insert which I will change again to all grill. Popped in the Seasonic X-1250 psu and changed over the 5 1/4 bay toys. Gotta go to a damn engagement party tonight (wretch, puke), Click image for larger version

Trying to juggle a few builds at once, should concentrate on one at a time.

Looks interesting, although I'm not big fan of front radiator mount as you heating other parts inside with it.

No, not true fans on back of rad will be pushing air outwards not drawing air in. Only concern is if SR-1 will cool 2 x non-reference 670`s well enough, may have to put another 240 on floor. Will end up going tri-sli so I probably just answered my own question.

So much potential for the AZZA 4000; I have to agree with Daz (to a point), if so much room (e.g. more than enough room for dual 360mm rads), then why have a dual rad in the front/ on the floor?

This is a 3 loop system, Monsta 420 up top in push-pull for cooling the TEC chiller hot side. On the cold side it will feed the cpu block only without a reservoir. The bottom will be either the SR-1 or 2 monsta double 80`s x 80mm thick in the front, unless I decide to go and put the TFC Xchanger 360 in the bottom floor. Lower rad or rads will cool 2-670`s maybe 3. Trust me space gets eaten up quickly, here`s a pic or two of top section with the 420 x 110mm Monsta.Click image for larger version

That's gonna be some serious cooling! Are you going with a nuclear reactor for a CPU??

It is for a TEC chiller unit, sort of like an electronic heat exchanger that transfers heat from one side to the other. It can give you some spectacular temp drops providing you can wick the heat away which in this case is the heat from a 3770K> Click image for larger version

ID:	74673 And also the heat created by the TEC. The tec is rated at 800 watts Qmax which is max power draw at 28 volts, I`m running off 2-pci plugs from the Seasonic X-1250 at 12 volts which gives me a draw of approx 350 watts. Combined with the overclocked 3770k you are talking close to 550 watts to cool. Limitations are from Dew point humidity which will cause condensation on board unless it is insulated around the cpu socket area. I expect to be able to get cpu temp eventually down to about 3-6 degrees C. Now you know why the huge rad.

                              TEC/Peltiers setups are super cool.

Been reading that forum at OCN lately. There are some crazy low temps posted there.

This is going to be a wild and crazy build!
